The Aam Papadum (papad) is a tangy & sweet snack item which is kids’ favorite. The yummy leathery sweet mango recipe is made by the mango pulp, black salt & sugar & could be relished anytime.
 
Ingredients for Homemade Aam Papad:
  • mango pulp-1 1/2 cup
  • salt-1/2 teaspoon 
  • black salt-1/4 teaspoon
  • sugar-5 tablespoon
  • black pepper-2 pinches 
  • refined oil-1 tablespoon
How to prepare Homemade Aam Papad:
 
Step 1) The delicious snack is made utilising mango pulp. If the mango pulp is not there, you could bring a fresh mango & scoop out the pulp from it inside a vessel.
 
Step 2) Drop the mango pulp in a mixer jar & blend it to a well soft puree.
 
Step 3) Next, place a heavy-bottomed Kadai with moderate flame, drop sugar & mango puree in it. Combine finely & continue stirring the mix.
 
Step 4) Bubbles would begin appearing so, continue the cooking. Stir it constantly.
 
Step 5) Once the mixture begins to thicken drop the black pepper, salt & black salt. Mix it finely. Continue cooking with moderate flame by stirring it continuously.
 
Step 6) Once the mix becomes thick & changes the colour, turn off the flame.
 
Step 7) Grease a steel plate using cooking oil. Pour the thickened mango mixture on greased plate. Place it utilising the flat knife or spatula.
 
Step 8) Close it with a thali & place it at room temperature for around two days to dry up.
 
Step 9) Once the top is dried up & no more sticky on touch.
 
Step 10) With the knife peel the aam papadm from sides.
 
Step 11) Then it would peel off simply from the dish.
 
Step 12) Put it again on same plate & cut in lengthy stripes.
 
Step 13) Either roll the stripes or cut them in squares.
 
Step 14) Aam papad is now ready and serve it to enjoy lavishly.
