Tandoori Paneer Tikka Recipe

A lovable dish with the combination of paneer, capsicum, onion and tomato is too damn delicious that no one can stay away with it. Here, is the recipe to make this tandoori paneer tikka at home without using tandoor.
 
Ingredients required to make Tandoori Paneer Tikka
 
For Paneer Tikka
  • Paneer Cubes - 2 Cups
  • Onion (Medium Sized) - 1 
  • Capsicum (Cubed cut and deseeded) - 1
  • Large Tomato (Cubed Cut and deseede) - 1
For Topping
  • Coriander (Chopped) - Few
  • Lemon juice - Few
For Marinade 
  • Mustard Oil - 3 Tbsp
  • Garlic Paste - 1 Tsp
  • Ginger Paste - 1 Tsp
  • Thick Curd - ½ Cup
  • Red Chilli Powder - 2 Tsp
  • Coriander Powder - 1 Tbsp
  • Chaat Masala Powder - 1 Tsp
  • Garam Masala Powder - ½ Tsp
  • Kasuri Methi (Crished)- 1 Tsp
  • Salt - To Taste
The Process to make Tandoori Paneer Tikka
 
1) Take a deep bowl and add all marinade ingredients, then add paneer and toss it till the cubes marinade well with the mixture. Once done, then cover the bowl with a lid or a piece of cloth and leave it for rest for 1 to 2 hours, so that paneer absorb the flavours well.
 
2) Next step is to the pre-heat the oven to 220 C, at least 10 minutes prior to cooking. 
 
3) Before cooking, take a skew and fix paneer, capsicum, onion and tomato into alternative order. You can make around 3 to 4 skewers with the number of ingredients used here.
 
4) Then put the skewers inside the oven and bake for 12- 15 minutes, also flip the skewers in between.
 
5) 15 minutes later, turn on the oven broiler and broil the skewers for a further 3 minutes until the paneer seems properly cooked.
 
6) Once done, put the oven off and carefully remove the paneer from the roasting pan. You need to be careful while lifting the skewers, as paneer must be very soft at that stage.
 
7) Place the skewers on the serving plate. Topped with fresh chopped coriander leaves, squeeze the lemon and enjoy the tasty and delicious “Tandoori Paneer Tikka” at home without the tandoor.
